Virginia comes to Kolob Canyon from Boulder, CO.  Virginia earned her bachelor's in French from CU Boulder and her Master's Degree in counseling from CU Denver. Describing her clinical background Virginia says, "I take an experiential approach to therapy drawing from Gestalt and my experience working with wilderness therapy. I also draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and work from a trauma informed lens. I have worked extensively with adolescent girls and young women in a variety of settings and am very passionate about combining my love and belief in the power of the wilderness with my therapeutic work."
