Hannah’s journey with Kolob began almost a year ago as an intern therapist, and now she’s officially part of the team as a Primary Therapist—bringing her passion, experience, and love for adventure into the therapeutic space.
Originally from Washington State, Hannah has always been deeply connected to nature and movement. She grew up immersed in three-day eventing and competitive sports, developing the resilience, discipline, and intuition that now shape her work as a therapist. She graduated in 2019 from Pacific University in Oregon with a double major, earning her Bachelor Degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice, Law & Society. She recently graduated with her Masters of Social Work from New Mexico State University.
Hannah is certified in H3 Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Brainspotting Level 1, and Sand Tray Therapy—powerful modalities that align with her belief that healing happens not just through words, but through movement, connection, and deep, embodied experiences. She spent three years working in youth residential treatment as an equine specialist, facilitating equine therapy before shifting to work as an Adult Probation Case Manager, where she helped individuals navigate substance use and mental health challenges. Eventually, she found her way back to youth residential treatment, combining all of her experiences into a holistic, experiential approach to therapy.
Hannah’s practice is rooted in the belief that nature is medicine and that true healing happens when we engage the body, mind, and spirit. She thrives on incorporating experiential therapy—whether through horses, sand tray work, brainspotting, or simply taking therapy outside the four walls of an office. She understands that for many, healing is a journey, and she’s here to help clients rewrite their narratives, reconnect with themselves, and discover their own inner strength.
Hannah has lived in Utah for the past 6 years. When she’s not guiding others on their paths to self-discovery, you’ll find Hannah soaking up the desert sun in Southern Utah—riding dirt bikes, jet skiing, hiking, and spending time with her three dogs and family. She believes the wild places of the world have so much to teach us, and she’s always eager to bring a little bit of that magic into her work.
